Overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday, additional IDF brigades—including the Nahal Brigade and the Golani Brigade—joined the ground maneuver in the Gaza Strip, according to a report by Army Radio. These brigades will operate in various combat zones and take an active role in Operation Gideon’s Chariots, which aims to dismantle Hamas and bring home the hostages.

Elimination of Mohammed Sinwar
Earlier today, the Israeli defense establishment confirmed to Channel 14 that Mohammed Sinwar, head of the Hamas terror organization in Gaza, was eliminated along with other senior operatives in an IDF strike on Khan Younis. The confirmation of the elimination of this mass murderer marks another significant achievement for the IDF and the ISA (Shin Bet) as part of Operation Gideon’s Chariots.

Heavy and Strategic Combat
Yesterday, it was announced that Moataz Deeb, a senior Hamas commander responsible for the group’s aerial operations in northern Gaza, was eliminated during a targeted operation. According to the official statement, Deeb was responsible for planning and directing terror activity targeting Israeli aircraft, as well as launching drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles toward Israeli civilians.

Operation Gideon’s Chariots
The precise strike took place last week as part of a series of proactive operations carried out by IDF Southern Command, under the guidance of the Shin Bet and the Military Intelligence Directorate. As part of Operation Gideon’s Chariots, the IDF continues its efforts to destroy terror infrastructure and eliminate terrorist operatives throughout the Gaza Strip.
