The first of 22 new communities approved in a recent Security Cabinet meeting has been revealed. The founding group “The Reservists – Victory Generation” is expected to establish residence this coming summer in the community of Tabatz, located in the Jordan Valley, on the site of the former IDF Hamam al-Malih base.

Connecting Military Service to Practical Zionism
The initiative is a joint effort of the Ministry for Settlement under Minister Orit Strock, the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs headed by Minister Amichai Chikli, and the Amana movement, which has supported the project from its inception. The “Victory Generation” movement aims to establish more such communities across Israel, reviving the Zionist spirit through IDF reservists – those who fought for the land and are now returning to help it flourish.

A Direct Message to Our Enemies – We Will Build and Live
Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) Gilad Ach, head of the Victory Generation movement, stated: “This is indeed a historic day in the annals of Jewish settlement in the Land of Israel.”

He noted that this summer the movement plans to establish four new communities of reservists and strengthen about 20 existing ones along Israel’s borders: “The reservists have proven their deep commitment to the nation and the state, and none are more deserving to lead the next generation of settlers. This government move sends a clear message to Israel’s enemies: for every murder, we will bring more life and more building – forever.”

22 New Communities in Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley
As reported, the Israeli government recently approved a decision to establish 22 new communities across Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley. The plan was developed by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant with the backing of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The move carries significant political and territorial implications and represents a key right-wing strategy to entrench sovereignty in these areas.

In the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council, the communities of Adi Ad, Ahiya, Nofei Prat, Atarot Ader, Inbar, and North Beit Horon will be established while in the Megilot Dead Sea Regional Council, one new neighborhood will be recognized, Kedem Arava.

Machane Gadi, Ir HaTemarim (City of Dates), Geva’onit, and Tabatz are the new communities that will be established in the Jordan Valley Regional Council. Other settlements that will be newly recognized are the Mitzpe Ziv, El Naveh, and Kedem Arava in the South Hebron Hills, and the neighborhoods of Havat Yair, Ma’oz Tzvi, Ma’alot Halhul, Afeka, Yonadav, Rehav’am, and Mount Ebal in the Samaria Regional Council.

Note: The names of these communities are still provisional and have yet to be finalized.
