The American humanitarian aid foundation (GHF) continued its operations today (Sunday), distributing food to civilians in Gaza. A total of 1,157,760 meals were handed out at three distribution sites and via direct delivery to communities. As is known, food distribution undermines Hamas’s governance, and its control over the population continues to erode as a result.

Distribution Sites
In Tel al-Sultan, five food trucks delivered 4,800 boxes—equivalent to approximately 277,200 meals.

In the Saudi neighborhood, four trucks distributed 3,840 boxes—roughly 221,760 meals.

In Wadi Gaza, nine food trucks delivered 8,640 boxes—about 498,960 meals.

The distribution at all three locations was completed without incident, while IDF forces operated nearby to secure the new aid centers and prevent Hamas from seizing the supplies. As the IDF Spokesperson stated last week: “The plan is proving itself and succeeding. The residents understand that Hamas is trying to block them from receiving aid. Hamas is actively disrupting the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.”

Today, for the first time, GHF attempted direct food distribution to Gaza’s civilian population, sending 11 trucks to community leaders in northern Rafah. These trucks carried 10,560 boxes—enough for approximately 609,840 meals.

GHF is now reviewing the success of this direct-to-community pilot and will determine whether to continue with this method. At the same time, the foundation is evaluating and refining its distribution model to maximize the number of people receiving aid.

Total meals distributed to date: approximately 10,109,902 meals via around 168,480 boxes.

1.6 Million Meals
John Acree, GHF’s acting CEO, stated: “I’m proud of our team for once again delivering aid—1.6 million meals to the Palestinian people—without a single injury or incident at any of our sites. We continue to adapt and improve our work to ensure the safety of the Palestinian people we serve. Recently, we opened a route exclusively for women and children to ensure they receive the aid they need. And today, we tested direct-to-community distribution. Every day, we look for ways to improve our operation and to deliver assistance to those in need in the safest way possible.”
