For the fifth time since the beginning of the war, the IDF and Shin Bet have eliminated the commander of the Shuja’iyya Battalion of the Hamas terrorist organization, the IDF Spokesperson announced today (Tuesday). His predecessor in the role was eliminated only last week.

The terrorist Muhammad al-Ajlah replaced the previous Shuja’iyya Battalion commander in Hamas, Haitham Razek Abd al-Karim Sheikh Khalil, who was killed last week.

Was responsible for supplying weapons to battalion terrorists
Throughout the war, terrorist al-Ajlah served as commander of the combat support company within the Shuja’iyya Battalion. He was responsible for supplying weapons to battalion operatives in order to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians.

Al-Ajlah is the fifth Shuja’iyya Battalion commander from Hamas to be eliminated since the start of the war, and the third since the beginning of Operation Swords of Iron. The IDF emphasized that steps were taken before the strike to minimize harm to civilians, including advance warnings to residents, the use of precision munitions, and aerial surveillance.
