A female IDF company commander from Battalion 414, who was seriously wounded in the October 7 Hamas invasion, has been critically injured again—this time in combat near the Sabeebon neighborhood in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza.

This marks one of the first major operational incidents since the launch of Operation “Oz V’Herev” (Strength and Sword) in the Gaza Strip.

Master Sgt. Ghaleb Sliman Al-Nasasra Killed in the Line of Duty
In the same incident, Master Sgt. Ghaleb Sliman Al-Nasasra (35), from Rahat, a highly respected tracker in the Northern Brigade of the Gaza Division, was killed.
Another tracker, a combat medic, and the company commander were all seriously injured.

Returned to the Battlefield after October 7 Injury
The company commander had previously sustained serious injuries during the October 7 attacks, forcing her to step away from her duties for a prolonged rehabilitation. After recovery, she resumed command training, rejoined active duty—and returned to the front lines.

Yesterday, for the second time in 18 months, she was injured in battle. Her condition is currently described as serious but stable.

She and another wounded female soldier from the battalion are hospitalized at Rabin Medical Center (Beilinson Hospital), both sedated and on ventilators.

Netanyahu Responds: “We Will Not Surrender”
Following the incident, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation in a recorded statement regarding the Gaza war: “I’ve instructed the IDF to increase the pressure,” he said. “If we back down now, all our achievements will be lost. Ending the war under surrender terms would send a dangerous message to our enemies.”

He revealed that Hamas rejected a new hostage deal, and warned: “If we don’t destroy Hamas completely—another October 7 is only a matter of time.”
