Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Monday) in Jerusalem with Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa during his official visit to Israel. The two leaders agreed to advance practical cooperation in key areas such as security, defense, agriculture, water, and technology.
Ecuador’s Innovation Center in Jerusalem
“Ecuador and Israel share a strong friendship. I look forward to strengthening that bond even further,” said Netanyahu. “We made decisions on highly practical matters. Our experts will work together to explore avenues of cooperation,” he added.
The government of Ecuador is set to open an official Innovation Center in Jerusalem. The goal of the center is to deepen Ecuador’s presence in Israel, establish a base for long-term activity, and connect Ecuador’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem with Israel’s.

Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa thanked Prime Minister Netanyahu for his words:
“We have been received as friends, as allies, and as a nation that cooperates with Israel.”
“We share the same enemies. Our enemies are poverty, terror, and suffering—and we will fight them. We will fight them to the end,” Noboa added.
“You will always have my support and the friendship of the State of Ecuador,” President Noboa concluded.
