Forces also focused on preventing potential riots following the release of convicted terrorists. Operations included warnings, interrogations, and confiscation of inciting materials such as flags and banners. In Bethlehem, a statue of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) was dismantled as part of efforts to curb incitement. “Security forces have made it clear that they will continue taking action to thwart terrorism and ensure the safety of Israel’s citizens,” the IDF stated.
IDF Establishes a New Command Center
Concurrently, this morning Ynet reported that the IDF has decided to establish a dedicated command center to protect communities amid concerns of infiltration attacks by terrorist groups in Judea and Samaria akin to Hamas’ October 7th attack.

According to the report, the new command center will comprise several Home Front Command reserve brigades, which will be deployed during emergencies to protect key roads and settlements from the Ta’anakh region in the north to Hebron in the south. Alongside these brigades, mobile reserve units will be activated to transport troops to critical points along the security fence.
With ongoing security operations and the establishment of a new command center, the IDF remains vigilant in protecting Israel’s citizens. As threats persist, decisive action ensures stability and strengthens national defense.
