“I need your help,” she wrote. “Tomorrow I’m speaking at a women’s leadership conference at Tel Aviv University, and I have no idea what to say. My head is pounding.”

The most emotional video ever made about me
A few weeks ago, Shir’s story was featured in a special session of “Rega Shel Chochma”, Rega News’s storytelling platform that features videos with personal, and emotional testimonies from Israelis in times of crisis and resilience. In the video, she spoke candidly about her personal transformation since October 7 from feelings of fear, anger, and uncertainty, into a mission of advocacy and hope.

After watching the video summarizing her journey, she wrote: “I woke up to the most emotional video made about me since this all began. It captures my entire process and every emotion I’ve gone through.”
