Coral Makes History in Usafiya – What’s Next?
In Usafiya, Carmel, it snowed last night for the first time in nine years. It’s important to note that the last times it snowed in the Haifa area were at the end of January 2016 and on February 20, 2015.
Regarding the ongoing forecast, over the next day, intense cold is expected to sweep across Israel, with possibilities for light snow occasionally in the mountains. Overnight, there may be drizzle or light rain in northern Israel and up to the northern Negev.
The forecast for the coming days indicates low temperatures that will continue to drop, with frost expected overnight, but almost no precipitation is anticipated, leading to no expectations of snow accumulation in the northern and central mountains.
Tomorrow will see a rise in temperatures, but it will still be slightly colder than usual. In the morning, there will still be fears of frost in vulnerable areas, and strong easterly winds will blow in the northern mountains. Throughout the day, it will be clear to partly cloudy. On Wednesday, there will be a slight rise in temperatures, but they will remain low for the season, with partly cloudy to clear skies.
