The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit released footage this morning (Sunday) from the Gaza Strip showing Hamas terrorists moving explosive devices through an active combat zone in the southern part of the Strip. Before they could activate the explosives, the IDF struck from the air and took them by surprise.

Soldiers from the IDF’s 7th Armored Brigade identified the activity in real time, rapidly closed the operational-intelligence loop, and directed Israeli Air Force aircraft to eliminate the terrorists from the air.

Dozens Eliminated
As part of the operation, dozens of terrorists were killed, and around 100 terror targets were destroyed in a coordinated effort involving the brigade’s firepower units, the Israeli Air Force, and intelligence services.

In addition, troops from the 7th Armored Brigade, together with the elite Yahalom Unit, uncovered and destroyed a major underground tunnel roughly 30 meters deep and 700 meters long. The tunnel, dug beneath civilian infrastructure, had been used by Hamas for terrorist operations and was equipped to facilitate infiltration and attacks against IDF forces.
