A 35-year-old British tourist was deported yesterday (Monday) from Israel after being investigated by the Israel Police for hostile activity. The woman is affiliated with an organization that calls for a boycott of the State of Israel and had published content on social media critical of Israeli police officers and IDF soldiers.
Entering a military zone
The incident began when officers from the Hebron police station in the Judea and Samaria District, together with IDF soldiers, detained the tourist for questioning after she entered a closed military zone in the South Hebron Hills—contrary to an order issued by the IDF Central Command. The tourist also refused to identify herself to security forces and threatened the local civilian security coordinator (known in Hebrew as a Ravshatz), who had arrived on the scene.

Deported from Israel
Following her arrest by Hebron station police, the suspect was taken for questioning. During the investigation by the regional investigations unit (Yamar), evidence surfaced that she was connected to an anti-Israel organization and had posted inflammatory content against Israeli police and IDF soldiers. Based on these findings, she was brought before a judge.

After reviewing the evidence, the Immigration Authority decided to deport the British tourist from Israel. She will remain in custody until the deportation process is completed.
The Judea and Samaria District Police stated that security forces will continue to act firmly against any attempt to harm state security or incite against the security services. “The swift and determined action prevented hostile activity and maintained public order in the South Hebron area,” police officials said.
