This morning (Monday), on the Temple Mount, Marina Sokol, mother of fallen soldier Israel Sokol z”l, raised the Israeli flag during her visit marking Jerusalem Day. Sokol chose to express a sense of urgency for increased military pressure—precisely at this most sacred and sensitive site.

“The eternity of Israel will not lie, until victory”
Sokol said to the camera as she stood on the Mount holding the flag: “The eternity of Israel will not lie, until victory”. The mass ascent to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem took place under heavy security and drew significant public attention, with many visitors emphasizing the Jewish people’s historic connection and national identity tied to the site.
Mass Prayer at the Western Wall
Thousands gathered this morning for Shacharit (morning prayers) at the Western Wall plaza, including many students from hesder yeshivas, with the participation of Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Kalman Ber, along with other rabbis and public figures. During the prayer, the large crowd offered prayers for the safety of IDF soldiers and security forces, the swift release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, the recovery of the wounded, and for peace and security in Israel.
