IDF Counterterror Operation in Nablus
In the West Bank, the IDF launched a targeted counterterror operation overnight in the heart of Nablus’s old city. Troops scanned over 250 buildings and arrested six wanted individuals. During the raid, soldiers uncovered and confiscated improvised firearms—including a Carlo submachine gun—and other weapons.

Two militants attempted to grab a weapon from an IDF soldier during a search. The soldiers responded with live fire, killing both attackers. One soldier was moderately injured, and three others sustained light injuries. All were evacuated for medical treatment and their families were notified.
Gaza: Militants Disguised as Women Killed
In Gaza, Givati Brigade forces identified two Hamas militants dressed as women and carrying sacks from a Hamas military facility. The structure was reportedly used to coordinate terror operations against Israeli civilians. The soldiers directed an airstrike that killed the suspects on the spot.

Subsequent searches uncovered additional weapons, including rocket launcher barrels used by Hamas to target Israeli population centers. The IDF described the threat as immediate to both soldiers and civilians.
Israeli Air Force Supports Rival Militia During Internal Hamas Clash
Earlier in the day, in what officials called a precedent-setting event, Israeli air power intervened during a firefight between Hamas and a rival militia headed by Yasser Abu Shabab. The airstrike reportedly targeted Hamas militants attempting to attack Abu Shabab’s fighters, marking a tactical shift in how Israel manages factional dynamics within Gaza.
