Following the recovery of the bodies of American citizens Gadi Haggai and Judy Weinstein Haggai, of blessed memory, former Trump envoy Adam Boehler addressed the hostage situation in Gaza and voiced his full support for the families’ demand to bring their loved ones home.

“We will not rest until they are returned to their families”
“We will not rest until all those who were murdered, and all those still held by Hamas, are returned to their families,” Boehler wrote in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Boehler emphasized that significant efforts are underway to bring back hostages with American citizenship: “Especially Americans Itay Chen and Omer Neutra – they must come home. We will continue working until this happens,” he added.

Precise Intelligence
As previously reported, in a special operation conducted by the Shin Bet and the IDF in the Gaza Strip, the bodies of two hostages held by the murderous terrorist organization Hamas were brought back to Israel: Judy Weinstein Haggai and Gadi Haggai of Kibbutz Nir Oz, of blessed memory.

The rescue mission took place in the Khan Younis area and was made possible thanks to precise intelligence provided by the Hostage Task Force, the Military Intelligence Directorate, and the Shin Bet. According to reports, the operation was launched based on information obtained from a captured terrorist under Shin Bet interrogation. This intelligence identified the location of the hostages’ bodies, enabling the forces to enter, retrieve the remains, and exit successfully.

Following the recovery of Judy Weinstein Haggai and Gadi Haggai z”l, 56 hostages remain in Hamas captivity—20 of whom are known to be alive. The number of American citizens still held by Hamas has now dropped to two.

Since the beginning of the war, the IDF has recovered the bodies of 40 murdered hostages and rescued 8 living hostages from the Gaza Strip in military operations.
