This morning (Sunday), undercover Border Police units from Judea and Samaria, operating alongside IDF troops from the Samaria Brigade and guided by precise intelligence from the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), carried out an operation in the Kasbah of Nablus. The mission aimed to arrest a wanted terrorist affiliated with the “Lions’ Den” terror organization. The terrorist had previously carried out attacks, aided in weapons acquisition, and was planning further attacks.

Shots Fired at Lower Body
The undercover officers approached the compound covertly and in disguise, surrounding the location where the suspect had barricaded himself. As they moved in to arrest him, the suspect attempted to escape. The officers fired at his lower body, and a hit was confirmed.

During the operation, gunfire was directed at the forces and explosive devices were thrown. The troops responded with live fire. No injuries were reported among Israeli forces.

The wanted terrorist was taken into custody by the undercover officers and transferred to security forces for interrogation.
On Wednesday, Israeli security forces operated in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, where they arrested the mastermind behind the al-Funduq terror attack of January 6, 2025. That attack claimed the lives of three Jewish civilians and wounded eight others. Later that same night, five ISIS-affiliated terrorists were arrested in the town of Qabatiya.
