The use of the Rega News website (hereinafter: “the website”), operated by Positive News for Israel Ltd., and the content displayed on the site are subject to the terms of this regulation (hereinafter: “the regulation”), as detailed below, and which constitute a legally binding agreement for all intents and purposes.
For convenience only, this regulation is written in the masculine form but refers equally to all genders. A user of the website, whether purchasing its products or not, will hereinafter be referred to as: “the customer” / “the user” / “the surfer.”
Please read the terms and conditions of the policy (the terms of the regulation, its restrictions, and everything written within, will hereinafter be referred to as: “the terms” / “the terms of the regulation”) carefully, as the use of the website and its content indicates your agreement to the terms and your acceptance of them. Accordingly, if you do not agree to any one of the terms, you are requested not to use the website.
The terms of the regulation, which as mentioned above constitute the terms of a legally binding agreement, apply to browsing the website, reading and consuming its content, and purchasing products and/or services offered on it, whether the purchase was made through the website, an application, or by telephone.
In the event of a contradiction between what is stated on the website and/or its content and the provisions of this regulation, the provisions of the regulation shall prevail.
The company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change and/or cancel and/or delete any term and/or condition and/or provision in this regulation and/or add to it, all without providing notice. The binding version of the regulation at any given time is the version published on the website.
The company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the website, its structure, appearance, availability of any content or service provided on it, and/or discontinue its operation, all without notice.
Like any internet site, the website is exposed to malfunctions and interruptions, and the company does not guarantee that the use of the site will not be interrupted and/or will operate smoothly without malfunctions and/or pauses and/or disruptions. The company shall not be liable for any damage – direct or indirect – including non-monetary damages such as distress, wasted time, etc., or any other damage caused as a result.
The company does not guarantee that every link found on the website will be functional and/or lead to an active website. Clicking on a link on the website may lead to sites not owned by the company, and it is not responsible for their content, reliability, data, user privacy, and any consequence resulting from their use or reliance on them.
The company makes efforts to ensure that everything stated and displayed on the website is correct, accurate, complete, and up-to-date. However, as always, errors and mistakes, including but not limited to content errors, technical errors, typographical errors, omissions of information, disruptions, etc., may occur.
Therefore, any use of the information on the website and/or any part of it requires verification, confirmation, and decision-making in all matters, including the customer’s decision to purchase a product offered on the website, which is done at the customer’s sole responsibility. The information on the website shall not be considered a purchase recommendation and/or usage recommendation and/or opinion.
All images on the website are for illustration purposes only. As the images displayed to the customer appear on a computer screen and/or mobile device screen and/or any browsing device, as opposed to printed images, differences and changes may occur between what is displayed on the website and the actual appearance of the products in terms of their appearance, color, shades, size, etc.
The customer shall not insult and/or violate the privacy of and/or defame any third party, including other customers. The website must not be used to publish any racist and/or discriminatory and/or exclusionary content.
The company, at its sole discretion, may prevent access to its sites in cases of misuse and/or abuse and/or improper registration and/or negligent registration without prejudice to any other remedies available under the law.
4.Privacy
Data as mentioned in Section 7 of this regulation, if required, will be stored in the company’s database, which will be lawfully registered, as required by the nature of the data. The user is under no obligation to provide any information; however, as noted above, without providing the information that may be requested in the mandatory fields, the user will not be able to access those services.
Under the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, every person is entitled to review, either personally, through an authorized representative with written permission, or via their legal guardian, any information about them held in a database. A person who has reviewed their information and found it to be incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated may request that the database owner correct or delete it. If the owner refuses to comply with the request, they must notify the applicant in the manner and procedure stipulated in the regulations. A person whose request to review, amend, or delete information is denied may appeal to the Magistrates’ Court in accordance with the procedure outlined in the regulations.
When registering on the website, the customer may agree or decline to receive various notifications and advertisements from the company or its representatives.
During website browsing, “cookies” may be transmitted to the customer’s computer, mobile device, or any browsing device. These cookies are text files sent by a web server, intended, among other things, to enable the company’s servers to identify the customer quickly and efficiently upon repeated visits to the website; to tailor the site’s content to the customer’s personal preferences; to collect statistical data regarding website usage, and for similar purposes.
Additionally, through cookies, the company may, at its discretion, advertise information about itself and its products on various websites and platforms visited by the customer. The customer should be aware that during website use, information about them may be collected and used as described.
A customer who prefers to block cookies during their website browsing can do so by adjusting the browser settings to request permission for cookies individually or to refuse them entirely. If you are unsure how to do this, you may consult the help section of your browser. However, please note that disabling cookies may prevent access to some features and services on the website.
5.Data Security
The company implements systems and procedures to ensure information security on its websites and makes every effort to prevent data leaks. While these systems and procedures reduce the risk of unauthorized access to its computers, they do not provide absolute security or immunity against unauthorized access to stored information.
6.Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
The company will not share the customer’s personal information with third parties, except in cases where the customer breaches the website’s terms of use or the conditions of its services, or if actions that are deemed unlawful or attempts to commit such actions occur in connection with the website. In these cases, the company may disclose the information as required.
7.Copyright
The company retains exclusive rights to the website and all content displayed, including all types of information, images, videos, audio files, drawings, trademarks, and more, protected by Israeli copyright laws, international treaties, and copyright laws of other countries.
Accordingly, no content from the website may be published, distributed, transmitted, copied, duplicated, displayed, or used in any form.
Should there arise any suspicion of rights infringement, whether those of the company or a third party, the company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take action, including removing a registered user or blocking access to the website or parts of it. The company will bear no liability for any claimed damages as a result.
In the case of a violation or harm by any user, surfer, customer, or third party, the company may disclose the details of the party alleged to have caused the harm, at its sole discretion, without any claims or demands against the company.
Under no circumstances shall the company be held liable for direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any other type of damage, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits, arising from or in connection with the use or performance of the website, delays in use, inability to use the website, or any related content obtained through the website. If you are dissatisfied with any part of the website or its terms of use, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the website.
