Following the U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, the Israeli Air Force launched a new wave of airstrikes early Sunday morning targeting military infrastructure in western Iran. Among the primary targets were missile launchers that had been prepared for firing toward Israel, as well as launchers that had already been used in earlier attacks. Several Iranian military personnel were also struck during the operation. According to the IDF Spokesperson, these actions marked the closure of an operational cycle in response to Iranian aggression.

The renewed Israeli strikes come hours after U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States had carried out a “successful strike” on three of Iran’s central nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. “A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.,” said Trump. At the end of the message he urged: “Now is the time for peace.”
Missile Barrage towards Israel
As the conflict escalated, Iran launched additional missile barrages toward Israel throughout the morning. Air defense systems responded by intercepting multiple threats, including two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) detected ad downed in southern Israel.
Widespread air raid sirens were reported across the country, prompting the Home Front Command to order the public into protected spaces. After a situational assessment, limited areas were cleared to exit shelters, though the public was urged to continue following official security guidelines and avoid sharing impact locations online.
The missile attacks caused damage in several regions. In the Dan District, a direct hit on a residential building was recorded. In the Central District, a vehicle parked near a home was struck, leading to extensive damage. In the Coastal District, a direct hit led to destruction of multiple structures. Fire and Rescue Services responded to each site, conducting search and rescue operations for possible casualties.

Despite the barrage, no injuries were reported at the time of publication. Magen David Adom teams and first responders remained on high alert across the affected areas.
As a precaution, Israir Airlines announced it had suspended all flights for the day, citing heightened security conditions and the need to prioritize passenger safety. The airline said it would resume operations based on further guidance from the Civil Aviation Authority.
In a personal moment of reflection, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar posted the Shehechiyanu blessing, traditionally said to mark significant and meaningful moments in Jewish life.
