The procedure was overseen by Netanyahu’s personal physician, Dr. Herman Berkovitz, and no irregular findings were recorded. The exam was carried out by a team of specialists led by Prof. Eran Goldin, Prof. Guzal Yaakov, Dr. Ariel Benson, and nurse Galit Peres.
Netanyahu expressed his gratitude to the medical team for their professional and dedicated care, and is expected to resume his regular duties shortly. A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that he is in good health and feeling well.
During the procedure, the government announced that Justice Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Yariv Levin would be temporarily fulfilling Netanyahu’s responsibilities.
