“This Evening Begins Jerusalem Day”
This evening begins Jerusalem Day – also known as Yom Yerushalayim. The United States is proud to join our close ally Israel in celebrating the 58th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem,” Huckabee stated at the opening of his message.
He went on to reference the U.S. Embassy’s location in Jerusalem:
Huckabee stated that President Trump reaffirmed the historic connection of the Jewish people to Jerusalem—dating back more than 3,500 years—when he had the moral clarity to recognize Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel, and subsequently moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
