A dramatic moment ended on a positive note: Firefighters from the Haifa station were called today (Thursday) following a report of a dog that had gotten stuck in the laundry alcove of a third-floor apartment on HaMa’apilim Street in the Kiryat Eliezer neighborhood of Haifa.

Climbed a tall ladder
The dog’s owners were not at home, and the apartment was locked. The firefighters had no choice but to climb a tall ladder to reach the dog.

To prevent the dog from falling, the team tied and secured it using a rope lowered from the building’s roof. Another firefighter then climbed the ladder and carefully brought the dog down to safety. The dog was rescued unharmed and in good health, and was transferred to a secure location.
