Humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip began today (Monday) following a decision by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with the goal of providing food and medicine to residents while ensuring maximum security.

Safe and Controlled Distribution
According to N12, an American company will be responsible for distributing the aid, accompanied by IDF security, to ensure that the assistance reaches civilians and not Hamas.

The humanitarian aid trucks will enter the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing under strict inspection to prevent aid from falling into the hands of terrorist organizations. The aid will be distributed at four humanitarian centers in Khan Yunis, aiming to encourage residents from the northern part of the Strip to move to secure points where they can receive food and medicine.

“Hamas Gets Nothing”
Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized in an interview with his spokesperson, Topaz Luk, the importance of providing humanitarian assistance in a controlled manner. “We will set up the first centers in a few days and add more later,” Netanyahu said. “Eventually, we will establish an area fully controlled by the IDF, where all Gaza’s civilian population can access aid, while Hamas gets nothing.”

American Collaboration
In the coming days, an American company will begin distributing the aid in coordination with Israeli security forces. Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir instructed that IDF soldiers will not be directly involved in the distribution process but will provide security for the company personnel.

Preventing a Humanitarian Crisis
According to Netanyahu, the decision to bring aid into Gaza comes in response to international diplomatic pressure to prevent hunger among the local population. “Since the beginning of the war, we have stated that to achieve victory, one essential condition must be met – we must not allow a situation of hunger,” Netanyahu clarified. “Victory will be achieved through a combination of intense combat and wise action, alongside food and medicine.”

Looking Ahead
The trucks are expected to deliver aid to hundreds of thousands of Gaza residents. Israel aims to establish a controlled system that allows civilians to safely reach the distribution centers while ensuring that terrorist elements are denied access. The move has received support from parts of the international community, recognizing the humanitarian importance of the aid.
