Over the past week, the Israeli Air Force launched an opening strike, targeting more than 670 Hamas terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip in order to disrupt enemy preparations and support the ongoing ground operation. Among the targets attacked were weapons storage facilities, terrorists, underground tunnels, and anti-tank launch sites.
The Air Force continues to provide continuous support to the forces operating in the Gaza Strip.
So far, IDF forces have eliminated dozens of terrorists, destroyed terror infrastructure both above and below ground, and are now securing key areas within the strip.
The IDF will continue to take action against terror organizations in the Gaza Strip as needed to protect the citizens of Israel.
