Hananel Gaz, the husband of the late Tzala Gaz, shared his feelings today (Thursday) following the horrific shooting attack that took his wife’s life near Bruchin. In a post published on social media, Hananel expressed deep sorrow alongside unshaken faith, vowing to continue drawing strength for himself and his family despite the overwhelming loss.
“Hello friends, today is a sad day. Last night, my wife was murdered. We were on our way to the hospital to joyfully deliver our fourth child. Of course I’m shattered—that’s natural—but I also thank God that I survived. I will be strong so I can continue to be a light to the entire world.”

“We Won’t Let Them Break Us”
Despite the immense grief, Hananel added that he intends to go on living with faith and determination: “Because we will never let them break us. I’m very, very sad, but I will continue to fight for the well-being of our people. I love you all. We will survive, we will succeed, and we will flourish. God is One. In good times and in hard times—it makes no difference. If this is from my one and only King—I accept it with love.”

The IDF Chief of Staff at the scene of the Samaria attack: “We will find the terrorists and settle accounts with them.”
As previously reported, a shooting attack occurred last night near the entrance to the village of Bruchin, in the Ephraim Brigade region. A terrorist opened fire at Tzala Gaz, who was on her way to the maternity ward with her husband Hananel. She was critically wounded and rushed to Beilinson Hospital, where doctors fought to save her life, but were ultimately forced to pronounce her dead.
Newborn Hospitalized in Serious Condition
During emergency treatment in the trauma room, doctors performed a cesarean section in an attempt to save the baby. The newborn is now hospitalized in serious but stable condition in the NICU at Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel.
Hananel, who was lightly wounded in the attack, was released from the hospital after receiving initial treatment.
