After five months of intense operational activity in the Golan Heights sector and inside Syrian territory, the soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade have completed their mission on the northern border and are now preparing for new assignments in the Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson announced today (Sunday).
The brigade, which operates under the 98th Division, will redeploy to the south as part of preparations for expanding the ground maneuver in Gaza.

Over the past five months, the paratroopers operated under the command of the 210th Division’s combat teams on the northern front. During the operation, the forces carried out dozens of raids on Syrian military outposts, seizing and destroying hundreds of weapons.
Changing of the Guard: Reservists Step In
The missions included complex combat operations in heavily fortified areas, aimed at neutralizing ground threats and dismantling hostile military infrastructure.

In the coming days, reserve forces are expected to replace the Paratroopers Brigade in the northern sector. These reservists will continue operational activity in the Syrian theater, maintaining high alert in the face of evolving security scenarios.
IDF: We Will Continue to Operate on All Fronts
As the Paratroopers Brigade prepares to leave the north, it is also getting ready for additional operations in the Gaza Strip, as part of the expanding ground campaign. Within the framework of the 98th Division, the brigade will play an active role in the southern operational effort, with the goal of enhancing force readiness in the fight against the terror groups operating in the Strip.


According to the IDF Spokesperson, operational activity will continue across all fronts to protect the citizens of Israel. The reservist forces stationed on the northern border will carry on with security missions in Syria to help ensure quiet in the region.
