Explosion Targets IDF Unit in Samaria, Reinforcements on the Way

Two IDF soldiers were lightly injured after their unit encountered an explosive device in the village of Beita, near Huwara. Large forces were dispatched to the scene, and the IDF has imposed a closure on the area.

An IDF unit encountered an improvised explosive device (IED) on Wednesday afternoon in the village of Beita, near the town of Huwara in Samaria. As a result of the blast, two soldiers sustained light injuries and were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.

The IDF imposed a closure on the area, and large military forces were dispatched to carry out searches and roadblocks. According to initial assessments, the device had been planted in advance and was intended to target security forces. Extensive operational activity is currently underway in the area.
