Visit Agenda
During his stay in the United States, Ben-Gvir is expected to meet with figures from the Trump administration who are responsible for domestic security and law enforcement, as well as with members of the Senate and Congress. He will also meet with Jewish representatives working on behalf of Israel and Jewish communities abroad. In addition to these political meetings, Ben-Gvir is scheduled to deliver several speeches at events and venues throughout the U.S.

A Shift in American Attitudes
The invitation to Washington by senior U.S. officials marks a significant shift in American policy toward the leader of the Otzma Yehudit party, compared to the previous boycott approach taken by the Biden administration. For instance, in November 2024, 88 Democratic members of Congress called on President Joe Biden to impose sanctions on Ministers Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, citing what they described as their “critical roles in driving policies that promote settler violence and undermine the Palestinian Authority.”
