The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency announced the targeted killing of Ahmad Mansour, a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s rocket unit, who infiltrated Israeli territory and took part in the October 7 massacre. Mansour was also responsible for coordinating rocket fire into Israel during the ongoing war.

In the past 72 hours, the Israeli Air Force has conducted a sweeping wave of airstrikes, hitting over 200 terror-related sites across the Gaza Strip. Targets included militant squads, rocket launch and sniper positions, weapons depots, and buildings used by terrorists for operations.

In Rafah, particularly in the Shaboura and Tel Sultan areas, IDF troops from the Gaza Division destroyed underground infrastructure and uncovered a large cache of weapons, including grenades, ammunition, and combat gear.

Further north in the Rafah region and along the “Morag Corridor,” forces from the 36th Division identified and neutralized Hamas infrastructure and eliminated several terrorists in direct engagements.

Meanwhile, in northern Gaza, soldiers from the 252nd Division located several militants sheltering in a structure suspected to contain a tunnel shaft. Israeli aircraft struck the location, killing the terrorists. The same unit also destroyed sniper positions that had posed a threat to ground troops operating nearby.
