Airlines Returning to Israel
In recent weeks, numerous airlines have announced the resumption of their operations in Israel. Just two weeks ago, it was reported that American carrier Delta Air Lines is restarting its New York–Tel Aviv route, marking its return after suspending flights at the start of the war. Delta’s comeback brings a major airline, with significant aviation and economic influence, back to the Israeli market.
At the same time, United Airlines also resumed operations this month and increased its frequency on the Tel Aviv–New York route. British Airways and Ethiopian Airlines are expected to follow soon with additional flights. Arkia entered the competition in February with service to New York and is expected to launch a new business class cabin shortly.
El Al is also set to resume its Tel Aviv–Moscow route starting May 1. As part of its renewed operations, the airline will operate seven weekly flights to Moscow, aiming to continue providing passengers with safe and reliable service.
