The IDF’s 252nd Reserve Division continues to conduct wide-scale offensive operations in central and northern Gaza, as part of a broader effort to expand the security buffer and dismantle terrorist infrastructure belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
Key Achievements on the Ground
In recent days, elite combat engineers from the IDF Unit, under division command, demolished a one-kilometer-long tunnel dug by Hamas and used for operational purposes. In a separate operation, troops also uncovered a rocket production workshop and launchers located in a densely built civilian area.

According to the IDF, more than 50 terrorists have been killed so far in targeted strikes against armed cells and terror operatives in the area. The military push comes alongside the expansion of ground operations in the south, where the IDF this morning issued its widest evacuation order yet, calling on civilians in Rafah to move immediately to the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone.
