The IDF continues its intense military operations in the Gaza Strip. After IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and Defense Minister Israel Katz approved the continuation of combat plans yesterday (Tuesday), Arab media outlets reported this morning that dozens of people were killed in airstrikes targeting Hamas positions.
Footage emerging from the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza—south of Deir al-Balah and north of Deir al-Sultan—shows extensive destruction following IDF strikes.
The camp, one of the most densely populated urban centers in the Strip, serves as a hub for Hamas and other terrorist organizations’ infrastructure.

“Strength and Sword” Operation Plans Approved
Yesterday, Defense Minister Israel Katz visited the IDF’s Gaza Division, where he conducted an operational tour with senior military officials and approved the continuation of Operation “Strength and Sword.” During the visit, he addressed the issue of the hostages.
“I came here to see firsthand the fighting and the deployment of IDF forces on the ground ahead of upcoming decisions,” said Katz. He emphasized, “Our primary objective now is to bring all the hostages home. If Hamas continues its defiance, it will pay an increasingly heavy price—through territorial losses, the elimination of operatives, and the destruction of terror infrastructure—until its complete defeat.”

Accompanying Katz on the visit were other senior officers such as Commanding Officer of the Southern Command Maj. Gen. Yaron Finkelman and Commander of the Gaza Division Brig. Gen. Barak Hiram.
Israel is fighting Hamas and will defeat Hamas. Let me be clear – Israel is not fighting the civilians in Gaza and is doing everything that international law requires to mitigate harm to civilians.
But when Hamas fights in civilian dress, from civilian homes, and from behind…
