“A Much Bigger Attack Was Prevented”
Moshe Horn, was known as “Musa” to his friends and was the legendary head of the field crops division in his kibbutz. His 51-year-old son was in the car with him when he was shot. He left the vehicle with his personal weapon, and engaged the terrorist in order to neutralize him.

Security officials identified the terrorist as Karam Jabarin, 25, from the village of Zalafa in Wadi Ara. Police Commissioner Dani Levy arrived at the scene and stated: “Thanks to the Border Police force, the killing spree was stopped—the terrorist arrived searching for Jews, snatched a weapon from a soldier, and continued his attack.”

A Border Police officer from the Coastal District who neutralized the terrorist shared her experience in an interview with Kan 11: “I was sitting inside a vehicle when a civilian told us there was a terrorist in the area. We got out, took position, and I eliminated the terrorist. We prevented a major attack.”
