At the same time, extensive activity is taking place in the northern Gaza Strip, especially along the coastal axis in the Beit Lahiya area. The aim of this maneuver is to widen the buffer zone between the south and the north.

Targeted Eliminations and Senior Figures Neutralized
During the last 24 hours, the IDF has reinforced its operations with armored forces, APCs, and infantry, alongside intense air and naval strikes. Among the targets that were destroyed are underground sites, rocket launchers, and buildings used by terrorist organizations to operate against Israeli civilians and security forces.

According to an IDF spokesperson, since the renewal of hostilities, several senior militants have been eliminated. Notably, Rashid Jajjoukh, head of Hamas’s General Security apparatus, Iman Azzali, commander of the Khan Younis territory, and Ismail Abd al-Aal, a key figure in the Islamic Jihad, were all killed.

Chief of Staff: “Defeating Hamas in Judea and Samaria Too”
Earlier yesterday, a military site of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon was attacked due to observed terror activity. Targets of the strike included underground infrastructure and rocket launcher sites.

Additionally, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir held a situational assessment in the Judea and Samaria Division and clarified that the campaign is not limited to Gaza alone. “When we talk about defeating Hamas, it is everywhere, including in Judea and Samaria,” he said. According to him, the top priority is the return of the hostages, and operations are being carried out in accordance with that goal.
