Netanyahu Warns That a Larger Front Could Open in Judea and Samaria

The Prime Minister visited the Border Police’s special operations unit in Judea and Samaria, was impressed by their activities, and emphasized their importance in the security arena: "They are our spearhead."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited today (Wednesday) the base of the Border Police’s special operations unit in Judea and Samaria and received a detailed briefing on the unit’s activities from its commander, who shared insights on the extensive operational work since the onset of the war.

During the visit, advanced technological means were presented to the Prime Minister, alongside drills simulating real scenarios that the unit’s fighters are required to handle in the field. Netanyahu was impressed by the high operational capability and determination of the fighters, highlighting the importance of their work during this time.

Prime Minister: “The Front May Expand”
During the visit, Netanyahu addressed the security situation in Judea and Samaria, stating: “I am here visiting the special operations unit of Judea and Samaria. They are our spearhead. They penetrate in, destabilize the terrorist enemy, and deal with them. They are truly doing holy work for the State of Israel.”

He added: “This is important at all times, but especially now, as we are engaged in an intensive war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. We are aware of the possibility that a larger and more intense front could open in Judea and Samaria.”

“Therefore,” Netanyahu concluded, “the work of the Border Police, the Israel Police, and the IDF, in close cooperation with the special units, is leading to significant results for the security of the citizens of Israel.”
