Nearly two years after the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the decision, Israeli actress Gal Gadot will officially receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today (Tuesday). Gadot is the first Israeli actress to be recognized at the iconic site, joining a distinguished list of entertainment legends, in recognition of her contribution to international cinema.
The Evil Queen
In addition to this impressive milestone, Gadot is set to star as the Evil Queen in Disney’s controversial upcoming live-action adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The film, which is scheduled for release this weekend, offers a modern take on the classic fairy tale, with actress Rachel Zegler portraying Snow White.
Beyond her acclaimed film career, Gadot is also known for her advocacy and public diplomacy on behalf of Israel. Recently, she participated in an Anti-Defamation League (ADL) event in New York, where she was honored for her efforts in combating antisemitism.
