This morning (Tuesday), the IDF ordered residents of the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate from combat zones in light of the extensive airstrikes conducted against Hamas.

The announcement was made to residents of the neighborhoods of Beit Hanoun, Khuza’a, Abasan al-Kabira, and Al-Jadida, which have been designated as particularly dangerous areas. The IDF instructed the civilian population to move to shelters in the western part of Gaza City and Khan Yunis, warning that remaining in the area could pose a threat to their lives.

Massive Airstrike: Senior Hamas Figures Eliminated
The evacuation order comes following an unprecedented attack by the IDF in Gaza, which focused on terror targets and led to the elimination of senior Hamas figures. According to Palestinian sources, among those killed were Issam Da’alis, Mahmoud Abu Watfa, Bahjat Abu Sultan, and Ahmed Omar al-Hatta. The Hamas health ministry claims that at least 308 individuals have been killed in the strikes, but Israeli officials emphasize that the attacks targeted military objectives and senior organization members.

IDF: The Fighting Will Intensify If There Are No Changes in Negotiations
The military operation follows Hamas’s refusal to advance negotiations for the release of hostages, leading to a deadlock in the Cairo talks. A senior security source stated, “Hamas continues to gamble with time, and that is a serious mistake. Israel will not wait, and the price will only increase.” In Israel, it is emphasized that unless Hamas significantly changes its position, the attack will expand and include further operations.

Home Front Command Updates the Guidelines for Gaza Envelope Residents
In response to the developments, the Home Front Command has updated its guidelines for residents in the south. Classes in the Gaza envelope have been canceled, gatherings have been limited, and train services between Ashkelon and Sderot have been temporarily suspended. The security establishment estimates that Hamas may attempt to respond with rocket fire, and therefore the IDF is on high alert for continued fighting.

Washington Provides Full Support to Israel
The White House press secretary confirmed that Israel consulted with  the Trump administration before launching the attack, and that the administration supports the Israeli action. “Hamas, the Houthis, and any other terrorist entity need to understand that Trump does not hesitate to act. Hamas will pay a heavy price,” she said.

The Israeli security establishment assessed that Hamas is under significant pressure, and if it does not change in its position, the attacks will be expanded, and the military operation will intensify.
