In Lebanon, it is claimed that IDF armored forces entered the village of Ayta al-Shaab and its surroundings last night (between Sunday and Monday), an area previously evacuated in accordance with the ceasefire ultimatum.
According to reports, IDF Apache helicopters conducted extensive patrols near the village of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil area, in addition to ground troop movements in other areas near the border.
Military and Diplomatic Pressure
This is the second consecutive night that it is claimed IDF forces are “patrolling” in already evacuated villages, raising tensions and furious reactions in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the United States is increasing pressure on the Lebanese government to fully implement the ceasefire in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, and today the Security Council is expected to discuss a report by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, reviewing the implementation of the resolution.
Forcing Beirut to Act against Hezbollah
According to diplomatic sources, the Trump administration has escalated pressure on Hezbollah through the Lebanese government, intending to compel Beirut to take action against them.
In Lebanon, there are fears that American pressure could threaten economic aid to Lebanon, including the possibility of preventing international assistance for the reconstruction of border areas that were damaged in the war.
Additionally, parliamentary sources told the newspaper Al-Joumhouria that these actions could be a precursor to significant pressure on Lebanon in the next phase, leading up to indirect negotiations with Israel under U.S. auspices. The report indicated that delays in an agreement with the International Monetary Fund could serve as another lever to exert pressure on Beirut.
