Three Boys Came to Volunteer and Touched a Nation

Without an organization or framework, three boys sought a place to help and became an example of Israel's social resilience, proving that the younger generation is filled with goodness, beauty, and values that uplift society as a whole.

Three boys, Elkana, Shachar, and Amit, arrived on Purim evening in the area where a citizen named Aryeh Ackerman lives in northern Israel, not as part of a trip or outing, but from pure intent to volunteer and assist. Without prior coordination, an organization, or a structured framework, they boarded a bus in search of a place where they could help the residents of the North.

When they met Aryeh, he directed them to an elderly neighbor’s garden, who was struggling and needed help to return to her routine. The three immediately jumped in, took up their tools, and got to work in the garden. The neighbor, who found it difficult to manage the place alone, was moved to tears and told them, “You came to me from heaven.”

The Real Faces of Israeli Society
The touching story quickly spread across social media, and many expressed deep appreciation for the boys’ actions. “The real faces of Israeli society—so heartwarming!” wrote one commenter, while another noted: “What amazing education they’ve received at home; simply princes!”

Many highlighted the inspiration in their actions, especially considering they chose to dedicate their free time to helping others. “On Purim evening, when everyone is celebrating and having fun, they chose to go out and give of themselves, there are no words.” Others noted how such gestures strengthen the sense of mutual responsibility: “This act proves there is great light in our land.”

Hope for the Future Generation
A small act, but with deep significance, these three young men not only assisted a neighbor in need but also infused hope and inspiration in the thousands exposed to the story. Many commenters referred to them as “the angels of Israel” and wished them success in whatever they pursue. “They are the hope for a better future.”
