During a government meeting in which an unprecedented aid program for the Druze and Circassian communities in Israel was approved, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced another significant step: granting work permits for Syrian Druze to work in Golan Heights communities.

The Prime Minister emphasized at the meeting, which approved the aid program for Druze and Circassian towns, that “our alliance with the Druze is not only a blood alliance but a bond of life. We will also assist our Druze brothers in Syria.” Defense Minister Katz praised the loyalty and bravery of Druze and Circassians in Israel, who have stood steadfastly alongside the State of Israel during critical and challenging times.

A Historic Aid Plan for the Druze and Circassian Communities

The government has approved the aid plan led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. This comprehensive program includes investments in infrastructure, education, housing, and employment to strengthen Druze and Circassian communities and ensure their economic and social future.

Defense Minister Katz emphasized that opening the doors for Syrian Druze workers is not only an economic step but also a humanitarian one, designed to support their brethren on the other side of the border, who face severe security and economic hardships. “We will continue to act decisively to strengthen the Druze in Israel and to protect their brothers in Syria,” Katz concluded.

“A Planned Move by the Iranian Regime and Hezbollah”

As reported earlier today, retired IDF intelligence officer Col. (Res.) Dr. Jacques Neriah claimed that the brutal massacres in Syria, where hundreds of Alawite minority members were killed, are part of a premeditated plan by the Iranian regime and Hezbollah. According to Neriah, this is a direct challenge to the new Sunni government of al-Jolani and involves foreign militias aiming to destabilize the country.

The bloodshed in Syria continues, while Hezbollah denies any involvement in the massacres. In an official statement, the organization dismissed the accusations as baseless and called on the media to ensure accurate reporting. However, according to Arab sources, foreign elements remain involved in the killings, and Syria’s internal security forces in Latakia have seized large stockpiles of ammunition allegedly belonging to remnants of the old regime.
