40 Additional Terrorists to Be Buried in Aita al-Shaab
The deceased are Hezbollah terrorists eliminated during the fighting in the area, being buried approximately three months after the ceasefire began.

According to the same reports, 40 additional terrorists will be buried in the village of Aita al-Shaab, a location from which the IDF recently withdrew as part of the agreed-upon withdrawal timeline. Local sources stated that the delay in the burials was due to military developments in the region, and discussions between both sides to reach an agreement of the final withdrawal schedule.

IDF Eliminates Hezbollah Terrorist on the Syria-Lebanon Border

Shaheen was a key operative in Hezbollah’s geographical unit responsible for the Beqaa region and had recently been involved in smuggling weapons from Syria into Lebanon.

The large-scale funeral in southern Lebanon highlights the heavy losses of Hezbollah operatives in recent months. As tensions in the region remain high, the delayed burials reflect ongoing military developments shaping the conflict’s next phase.
