Security forces heightened aggressive operations this week in Judea and Samaria in reaction to rising threats of terrorism and tensions over Hamas’ violations of the hostage deal. During the campaign, approximately 90 terrorists were arrested, and more than 15 weapons and various explosives and combat equipment were confiscated.
Last night (between Thursday and Friday), Duvdevan Unit soldiers arrested five terrorists in the village of Ikhtaba near Tulkarm. During the operation, several weapons and explosives ready for use were discovered in the building where the terrorists were hiding.

Katz: “We Will Defeat Terror Everywhere”
Defense Minister Israel Katz visited the Tulkarm refugee camp today, where he addressed the attempted attack in Gush Dan: “Yesterday’s severe attack attempts will not deter us. We are at war with radical Islamic terror, and we will win — here, in Gaza, and everywhere.”

Katz added that he had instructed the IDF to intensify operations in Judea and Samaria until terrorism is defeated: “I warn the released terrorists – we are watching you, and will eliminate anyone involved in terror.”
The Operation Will Continue Until Terror is Defeated
The defense system emphasized that arrests will continue according to new developments on the ground, and that forces are preparing to expand operations as needed. “Our mission is clear – to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens and to prevent further attacks,” the statement concluded.
