The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced today (Monday) that Israel’s entry for Eurovision 2025 has been officially approved and will compete in the contest. This confirmation puts to rest concerns about a potential disqualification, which arose following criticism of the song selection process in Israel.

The Song Meets All Competition Requirements”
The entry, written and composed by Keren Peles, was selected by Israel’s public broadcaster, KAN, but sparked controversy over alleged irregularities in the selection process. Despite the initial debate, the EBU’s approval ensures that the song meets all regulatory requirements and will move forward in the competition.
The song, chosen to represent Israel at Eurovision, will be performed by Yuval Raphael and was unveiled in a special KAN broadcast titled Our Song for Eurovision.
