IDF and Shin Bet Warn That Terrorist Homecoming Celebrations Will Not Be Tolerated

As part of the Israeli hostage release agreement called 'Operation Kanfei Dror,' (Operation Wings of Freedom), forces from the Judea and Samaria Division, under the Central Command, are preparing to prevent riots following the release of convicted terrorists.

The measures include reinforcing forces, dispersing gatherings, and removing Hamas-affiliated symbols.

Crackdown on Hamas Symbols and Preemptive Actions
In recent days, Israeli security forces have conducted talks with the families of the released prisoners, in cooperation with the Shin Bet. Additionally, security patrols have been carried out to remove Hamas-affiliated symbols, including flags and banners in relevant areas.

Heightened Security Preparations in Judea and Samaria
In the Bethlehem region, forces from the Etzion Brigade conducted awareness briefings at the Dheisheh Refugee Camp, clarifying the prohibition on celebrations related to the release of convicted terrorists. The Civil Administration announced that parades and events promoting terrorism will not be permitted. Similar warnings were issued via military coordination offices.

According to the IDF, security forces will continue to operate with full force against any disturbances or unauthorized marches, as part of efforts to maintain public order and prevent security escalation in the area.
