Meanwhile, in preparation for the release of prisoners, the Judea and Samaria Division, and the Civil Administration, in collaboration with the Shin Bet, the Israel Prison Service, and Border Police, continue efforts to disperse what security officials describe as “celebratory gatherings and riots” following the release of the prisoners. The forces are actively maintaining order in the region.

The Civil Administration held a security assessment ahead of the prisoner releases. According to an IDF spokesperson’s statement following the meeting, “Strong messages have been conveyed to the Palestinian side.” The statement emphasized that “The IDF and security forces will show zero tolerance for disturbances and expressions of support for Hamas.”
