Delta had suspended its operations on this route following the outbreak of the war in October 2023. Now, it joins a growing number of foreign airlines renewing their flights to Israel.
The Return of Airlines Signals Recovery
Tickets currently available on Delta’s website are still pricey. For example, a round-trip ticket in April, around the Passover holiday, starts at $1,868, including baggage. For flights in May, the price rises to $1,944.

Airlines Resuming Flights to and from Israel
In addition to Delta, Air France recently announced the resumption of its daily flights on the Paris–Tel Aviv route, beginning next week. Its subsidiary, Transavia France, will also resume operations in Israel starting January 28.
The Lufthansa Group, which includes Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, will gradually restart flights to Tel Aviv starting February 1. British Airways plans to return on April 5 with one daily flight, increasing to two daily flights starting April 20.
Overall, the return of foreign airlines to Israel signals recovery in the aviation sector, which was significantly affected during the war. With carriers like Ryanair, Wizz Air, and EasyJet already announcing plans to resume flights for the summer, Israeli travelers can look forward to more convenient options for international travel.
