“Your prayers and strength carried us through”

In her post, Romi wrote: “I want to pause for a moment and thank the people of Israel, my family, and friends. Your prayers and the strength you sent carried us through the entire journey and helped us believe that this nightmare would eventually end. You’ve touched us in ways my heart can barely contain, and it will take time to process and thank you all.”

“We must remember the 94 hostages still waiting”

While expressing personal gratitude, Romi emphasized the collective responsibility to rescue those still in captivity: “We must remember there are still 94 hostages who are desperately waiting for us to save them. Am Yisrael Chai (The People of Israel Live), and with God’s help, we will continue to receive good news in the coming weeks.”

“We’ve received Romi back for healing”
A day after the return of three women from Hamas captivity, their families issued a joint statement from Sheba Medical Center. Romi’s mother, Meirav, said: “We’ve received Romi back for healing, and every family deserves this. This is the ultimate goal of the war—it’s the hope that beats within us all on this day. Our hearts are set on the next stage and the crucial steps ahead.”

Meirav praised the resilience of the Israeli people: “As Romi’s mother, I say this—Israel is a unique and extraordinary nation. We are a people who strive for peace yet are ready for war when necessary. We unite other nations and stand together with strength. We still have 94 brothers and sisters who we are all committed to bringing back. Together, we will prevail. We need each other to win. Thank you for your prayers, your hopes, and your efforts to bring back our sons and daughters. The road ahead is long. Let’s take a deep breath, join hands, and achieve victory. The true triumph lies in their return.”
