The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) thwarted over a thousand attacks in the Judea and Samaria region and Jerusalem in the past year, interrogated over 600 detainees from the Gaza Strip, and uncovered 13 cases of Israelis spying for the Iranian enemy, according to the organization’s annual summary report. Among the various data and statistics, a conversation from the Shin Bet operations command center was revealed for the first time during the rescue operation of soldier Ori Magidish.
“Dear Ori, you are in good hands. The guys have rescued you; they are bringing you home. You are wonderful and brave. Well done! Soon, a big hug will be waiting for you here. Are you okay?”
Ori: “Yes, yes, I’m fine.”
The conversation continued amidst tears.
