500 Days of Captivity: Jerusalem Illuminates Landmarks in Support of the Hostages

The Chords Bridge and Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem were illuminated in yellow to mark 500 days since the beginning of the war and serving as a painful reminder that hostages still remain far from their families and homes.

Jerusalem’s iconic Chords Bridge and Teddy Stadium were lit up tonight (Monday) with the number ‘500’ and the emblem of the hostages, commemorating 500 days of Operation Iron Swords and standing in solidarity with the families of those still held in captivity by Hamas.

Watch the display at Teddy Stadium:

Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion spoke about the touching tribute: “Unfortunately, not all the hostages have returned home. Illuminating Jerusalem’s landmarks in yellow serves as a painful yet essential reminder that they remain far from their families and their homes. Tonight, the capital of Israel sends a clear message—Jerusalem’s residents have not forgotten, and we will not stop praying for their return until the last hostage comes home.”
