Chris Caresnone, a popular American content creator and host of the “CARESNONE” podcast, is visiting Israel for the first time this week—and the journey has left him in awe. From Tel Aviv to Jerusalem to the desert cliffs of Mitzpe Ramon, Caresnone has been sharing powerful moments with his hundreds of thousands of followers, offering a fresh and deeply personal perspective on the country.

“So many emotions. Real, deep conversations—sometimes hard. We’ve all changed,” he wrote in a post summarizing his trip.

From Tel Aviv Brunch to Mitzpe Ramon’s Desert Serenity
Caresnone’s itinerary was packed with unforgettable highlights including a breakfast buffet at the Royal Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv, shawarma in Jaffa, visits to Jerusalem’s historic sites, and a night at the luxury Beresheet Hotel in the Negev. He described the view as “undoubtedly the most amazing I’ve ever seen… it doesn’t feel real.”

“There’s something about this place that hits different every time,” he wrote about Tel Aviv, “The level of service here is next-level.”

Food, Culture, and a Missile Alarm
Between the iconic landmarks, Caresnone dove into local flavors and cultures. For example, he tried jachnun (traditional Yemenite Jewish pastry) for the first time, describing it as, “super tasty. I didn’t know it had that sweet vibe.”

He also explored Ethiopian Jewish heritage stating: “The food is deep. The story is deep. So much respect.”

He even experienced a missile siren drill, which left a lasting impression: “It wasn’t taken lightly, but with strength. Everyone knew what to do. It felt super safe.”

Shakshuka and Social Impact
After tasting shakshuka during a traditional Israeli breakfast, Caresnone learned about Leket Israel, a food rescue organization feeding more than 415,000 people a week. “If you care about real social impact, Leket Israel is the truth,” he wrote.

If You Get the Chance, Just Do It
Across his posts, Caresnone portrayed Israel in a warm, human, and diverse light, countering common perceptions with authentic moments. “I know people listen when I speak,” he said. “So I want to say this trip—with all its complexity—was priceless. I hope I get invited again.”

He closed with a promise to release a full video recap and one final message:“If you ever get the chance to take a trip like this, just do it.”
