The Prime Minister received a letter today (Monday) from ten coalition members, including representatives from Likud, Otzma Yehudit, and Religious Zionism parties. The letter expressed concerns about the reported terms of the emerging deal with Hamas and emphasized the importance of adhering to key security principles, including the full return of all hostages and achieving the objectives of the war.
The letter, co-signed by the “Heroism Forum” and the “Hope Forum,” urged Netanyahu to avoid making dangerous concessions. It stated: “Amid internal and external pressures, we insist that three moral red lines must never be crossed in any agreement with the murderous Hamas terror organization: no replacement for IDF soldiers, the return of all hostages, and no allowing the enemy to reestablish itself in northern Gaza.”
Public Support for Negotiations
Six members of the Shas party publicly expressed support for the ongoing talks and the emerging agreement. Labor Minister Yoav Ben-Tzur stated: “We will vote in favor of this deal. I hope we reach an agreement soon, so all the hostages can return home.”
