This new initiative will transform Wolt couriers, known for their blue delivery bags, into a first-responder emergency network across the country. Over 1,000 couriers will be trained in first aid, equipped with appropriate kits, and ready to provide life-saving assistance at any given moment.<\/p>\n<p>The idea behind the initiative stems from the significant presence of Wolt couriers in the public space. With a fleet of around 20,000 couriers across Israel, Wolt sees a unique opportunity to turn its workers into a valuable auxiliary force in medical emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>Elia Yossefian, COO of Wolt Israel, explains: &#8220;We understand that this presence can mean much more than just earning a living \u2013 it\u2019s an opportunity to save lives.&#8221; Yossefian highlights the impressive response from couriers to the program, reinforcing the desire to expand the project in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The training, provided by MDA instructors, covers a range of critical skills such as performing CPR, treating injuries, stopping bleeding, and providing assistance in various emergency situations.
